Ivan has 25 years of World Bank experience, working on corporate and country strategies, sustainable infrastructure, and development finance. Over the last two decades, as Country Manager and Country Program Manager he built investment programs in more than 30 countries across Eastern Europe, Central Asia, East Asia, Africa and Latin America. Ivan managed investment portfolios some as large as 40 projects and US$5 billion of investments, across fifteen countries. He has coordinated policy formulation and investment prioritization at the highest level with the Board of the World Bank, and led the preparation of the replenishment strategy raising a record US$85 billion. Ivan holds a PhD in Public Policy from the Maxwell School, Syracuse University (USA).
Salvador has 30 years of extensive experience in over twenty countries across Europe/Central Asia, Latin America, and East Asia, designing and implementing energy solutions and energy projects, both public and privately financed. His expertise ranges from concessions of transmission facilities to private operators, and financing of regional natural gas pipelines, to the development of solar markets and renewables. He has led World Bank project teams to design and implementation of more than twenty energy and infrastructure projects, and has facilitated commercial mediation between private investors and State Own Enterprises to reach amicable agreements. Salvador holds a BS and a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Honduras and the George Washington University (USA).
